Getting Started
Here at Zendesk, we use Okta for single sign-on and secure access to our systems. Okta uses your smartphone for 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) via Duo. You will need to download Duo on your phone from the App Store / Google Play Store. After installing the app, go to zendesk.okta.com in a browser on your laptop to finish the setup.
Applications
Self Service
Open the "Self Service" application on your laptop to install software such as Microsoft Office for Mac, printer drivers and other pre-approved apps.

Google Suite includes Gmail, Docs, Sheet, Drive, and Calendar and a lot more. These apps are great for team collaboration and document sharing.

JIRA and Confluence is a project management tool and wiki, login by clicking "Continue with Google" and enter your Zendesk email.
All Engineers are automatically provided license to JIRA and Confluence. If you require access, please submit a ticket to Zendesk IT.

Github is a web-based Git repository hosting service mostly used by Engineerings. Fill out this form to request access.
Please make sure that you have your first and last name on your profile and enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA). If you don't have your own GitHub account, you can sign up at https://github.com.

Things to Note
- Some third-party apps require you to set up an account, be sure to check your email for an invitation to get set up.
- Your colleagues may be using other helpful tools that are not provisioned to you by default, if you need access to those tools please reach out to us.
